This strain is very cool.
It has very distinguished looks.
Pins start out as huge extremely wide "babies" and shortly after appearance, they develop a dark, redish, deeply contrasting cap color, covering most of the body of the mushroom.
Pins can often reach widths of 2" inches.
As fruit bodies grow to maturity, they stay wide, but do not grow very tall.
They can be grown on cakes successfully, but it does a lot better on casings and bulk substrates.
First flushes can yield very fat and short mushrooms, but second and thereafter flushes can yield taller mushrooms with a usually lighter cap color upon maturity.
Abort count can be high.
A very unique and extremely potent strain. One of the most unique that we've ever seen as well as one of the most potent.
These mushrooms have been eaten in Thailand for years.
