Psilocybe Sub-Cubensis:Oak Ridge

The much talked about Oakridge mushroom from Shroomotopia.

I was lucky enough to get a print from the very first grow from the wild from Limeade in 2007 who was the original collector of this strain. The print was stored for later study.

The Oak Ridge circulated the net for a bit and some other isolations from the original were done that actually hurt the strength and quality of the genetics in a negative manner.
ï¿½ ï¿½ï¿½The 1st Gen had disappeared as even the original collector had lost its genes along the way. So this year I decided to bring it back from the dead providing the 1st Generation genetics to this mushroom from Oak Ridge, TN.

ï¿½ï¿½This strain grows large fruit bodies with different shaped stems from each other. They seem to develop a whale like stomach in the center of the stem which is not very common and is unique.

ï¿½ï¿½Although mycelium is extremely fast, the fruit bodies take a bit longer to develop than other cubensis. Being a subcubensis it tends to be quite potent with hefty sized fruits, so its worth the wait.

This is an extra Highly Rhyzomorphic Isolation of the 1st Gen!
