This mixture undergoes a very unique and time consuming filtering and screening process which filters out anything bigger than 1.75mm in our mixture.
Then, of the good stuff that is left, it is ground to size and the rest is then thrown away. Other ingredients like crushed oyster shells are added later to provide additional fruitbody support, plus added calcium.
This results in the lightest, softest, fluffiest, and most mushroom friendly mixture you have ever felt, GUARANTEED.
The double bag (one inside the other) allows you to separate your casing soil into 2 separate filtered bags after cutting it open. 1 Bag can be used as your casing soil reserve that can be stored in the fridge or freezer for later use, and the other bag can be used to spawn a colonized substrate inside it. It's a 2 in 1!
pH. balanced at the perfect pH for mushrooms.....less contamination, faster colonization, easier pinning.
This mixture is designed to hold moisture in very well and is very easy to colonize . Supports medium to large fruitbodies. It colonizes SUPER fast and fruits easily. It also helps add additional nutrients to your gourmet mushrooms. These casing soils are pressure sterilized to perfection, and double sealed, double bagged, and double filtered to prevent contamination.
Recommended for use as both casing soil and also works great for spawning too. Works as a great INDOOR/OUTDOOR potting mixture for your plants as well! Your plants will really love it!

For spawning. You will need to cut a slit on the bag, and dump some colonized grains or cakes and seal back up with pins or paper clips (OR AN IMPULSE SEALER), in a clean work area. Preferably under sterile conditions.
