Glass canning jars in Different Sizes and Different Mixtures, PRESSURE-STERILIZED, ready to inject with your favorite GOURMET mushroom spores. INCLUDING: SHIITAKE AND OYSTER MUSHROOMS amongst the few.
All our JARS are prepared, pressure-cooked and sealed in a 0.0% contamination chamber. Where there is control of particles the size of 0.013 microns.......the size of regular sized allergens, (including spores) is about 1.0 micron in size. 1 Micron= approximately 1/25,400 inch.
We have never encountered any contamination with JARS prepared in our 0.0 contamination "chamber". Each jar is hand made to ensure quality, with equal attention and professionalism to every individual jar.
All Half-Pint and Pint sized JARS are prepared PF style, which involves filling the JARS with Your Choice substrate up to about 1 inch from the top. The last 1 inch to the top is filled with fine vermiculite that acts as an air purifier for your contamination vulnerable substrate. This also allows for a very good exchange of C02 and 02.
C02 accumulation can cause for very slow colonization in JARS, so you want a good tool to exchange it effectively and frequently. The 5 holes on top (4 on the sides and 1 in the center) of your JARS will work together with the dry vermiculite layer on top to keep ALL your JARS contamination-free, and yet colonize at a fast speed.
The best temperature for your JARS will be from 82°- 85° F. But they will colonize at basically any temperature. For fastest results though, a warm climate or environment works best while colonizing. You can achieve this by puting your jars in a plastic container on top of a heating pad on LOW. Any plastic container with a lid works fine.
There are 5 holes in the lids of each JAR, these holes are sealed with a special tape to keep them Completely Sterile, through any conditions until seal is broken and ready for use. This tape is easy to be poked through with a spore or culture syringe. Once they are broken through with a syringe, these holes will serve to help supply clean oxygen for your colonizing JARS.
Once prepared......Our JARS are pressure-cooked, vacuum sealed (air tight) and guaranteed delivered sterile. We couldn't have made it easier for you. These jars come in 5 different kinds. Different substrates for different growing techniques and species. Some for beginners and some for more advanced cultivators. Every order is made FRESH upon ordering, we do not keep a stock, to ensure the freshest and best quality products.
All orders include a high efficiency filtration mask and a hand sanitizer.
